Privacy policy

Short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your information.

Website analytics

We use GoatCounter to count page views. It doesn't set cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't store your IP address. It records things like the page you visited, the site that referred you, your browser and screen size, and your approximate country. We use this only to see which pages are useful.

Email signups

If you join our free Board Change Alerts list, we'll collect your email address, and the page you signed up from, through MailerLite, our email provider (signups are planned and may not be open yet). You'll get a confirmation email first, and nothing else is sent until you confirm. After that we send a short welcome email, a few licensing tips, and an email when a state we cover changes its fees, exams or reciprocity. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share your address.

Purchases

Guide purchases on this site go through Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares your name, email address and what you bought with us so we can deliver your guide and help if something goes wrong. Purchases made on Etsy are handled by Etsy under its own policies.

The free license tracker

The tracker at app.html saves your profile and licenses only in your own browser, on your device. Nothing you enter there is sent to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it, so use the Export button to keep a backup.

Email to us

If you email us, we keep the message and your address to answer you, and for our records.

Hosting

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time, or ask us to see or delete the information we hold about you. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
